A Sad Day
The rain is falling outside which is fitting for a day like today. I just learned that my mom has cancer. Where do you go from here? How can six little letters create such destruction? She is still so young, but I guess cancer does not discriminate against age. She will be going through chemo and radiation for the next 6 weeks which hopefully will get rid of it. The Dr.'s are hopeful that they caught it n time, so only time will tell.

I promise you do have my thoughts and prayers. Last year I went through a scare, that involved coming back for a biopsy. It all turned out okay, thankfully so, but the days from the second mammogram to the biopsy and then for the results....seemed like an eternity. So many of my friends have gone through cancer, so I would have had a wonderful support group. It is scary but better to face anything with your good friends and family. Everything will be fine for your mom.
